Seeing the name of the cake you must be thinking what kind of cake is it? Is it a cake of a different kind or is it just a gimmick? Well ! the answer lies within the name. Certainly, it is not a cake of a different kind rather as usual. The only difference is, the process and the ingredients that I have used is so easy that even a bachelor can make it at home with perfection. Generally! Bachelors are willing to have good dishes at home but they can`t as they can`t make it by themselves. In that case either they have to depend on others or have to order outside in order to consume good dishes. The other logic that I can provide to keep the name as Bachelor cake is that the cake itself seems to be very basic which can be transformed into a good looking cake with the help of proper dressing. So if you are a professional cook and searching for a new recipe then this article would not serve you anything as it is to facilitate the bachelors only.

 

Anyways, let us get into the process without delaying anymore. So, before we start the cake few questions would arise in our minds. Those are, what are the ingredients we need to make the cake? Are they be available easily? And how to make it? How big the cake would be?

 

To answer the second question first, the ingredients which are needed to make the cake is available very easily as they are very much part of our daily lives. Now coming to the first question which is about ingredients, to make the cake we need, 46g of sugar in two different bowls, milk 20g, corn oil or white oil 20g, all-purpose flour 35g, 2 eggs. Remember the size of the cake would be 6 inches, which is to answer the last question. If you wanna make it 8 inches then you need, 66+13g sugar, 40g milk, 40g oil, 70g flour, and 4 eggs, etc.

 

Now let me answer the question which demands how to make the cake? The answer lies within the process to make it. Let us discuss the process now. The process to make the cake is divided into three parts, first part, is to organize everything just near to the place where you are going to make the cake. Second, before the oven - follow the ways one after another before putting the cake inside the oven. Third, follow the process after the oven, which is very much important to get the cake with a nice look.

 

Let, us get into the first part, all the ingredients as per their weight and description keep it in different bowls. Please, use a strainer to filter the flour before putting it into the bowl. Apart from that make two big bowls ready; one is to mix the flour with other ingredients and the other is to make the cream ready to make the final batter ready. Along with those, make some instruments ready that is necessary to make the cake such as a hand grinder, a cake baking pan, a silicone spatula, a plastic butter knife, a spoon, a yolk splitter, a barbecue stick, an oven tray, and an oven grill, etc.

Now to start with the second part that is before the oven process, let us do it in few steps. Step one, get two big bowls ready, put the barbecue stick on one of the big bowls just to the side so that the yolk splitter can be put on it. Make sure that there is no single drop of water inside the bowl. This may spoil the cake completely.




Now break the eggs one by one gently and then filter the albumen using the yolk splitter. Put the yolk in a different big bowl. While splitting the yolks from albumen, remember, there should not have a single drop of yolk dipping inside the albumen. Just to emphasize that this job is very much important to make the cake soft and spongy. A micro drop of yolk into albumen means it will be a waste of time to make the cake. The process should be as it is in the picture below.




Now put the measured oil and 13g sugar into the yolk and then mix it smoothly with the help of a spatula or a manual blender.

Once the mixture is ready then add the flour into the mixture in five parts along with the measured milk. Add a pinch of cinnamon powder into the mixture if you like. 




Mix all the ingredients well to make a smooth textured batter. As you can see in the picture below.



Once the initial batter is ready then go for the cream. To make the cream, use an electric hand blender and then start blending it for 5 seconds then add the rest of the 33g sugar into three parts while blending.

After 5 seconds of blending the cream may look like this as shown in the picture below.



Once all the sugar is added while continuing the blending for near about 10 min, the cream may look like this as can be seen in the picture below. The cream may look like a thick solution as can be seen in the picture.



Once the cream is ready, use one-third of it to add into the initial batter to mix it pretty well.

The procedure would look exactly the same as we can see in the picture below.




Once the mixture is ready to mix future it would look like as can be seen in the picture below.


Once the mixture is ready, add that into the cream and then mix it again from the bottom for 2 min.

The final mixture would look the same as can be seen in the picture below. At this point in time, you should start heating your empty microwave at 150 degrees, all sides, for 10 min.


 


Now make your cake pan ready by putting a little bit of oil into the pot. Spread the oil all across the pot using your hand. After that transfer the batter into the cake pan. While transferring the batter into the cake pan, make sure you drop the batter into the cake pan near about 24-inch heights. This will help to overcome the air bubble problem inside the batter.

 



Once the batter is put inside the cake pan, once again drop the batter-filled pan twice at the height of 6 inches. It will help to overcome the same air bubble problem further. Now put it inside the hot microwave. Set the time at 50 min keeping all other aspects as same as before.

 



This is the third and last part, after 50 min when the cake is ready, get it out of the microwave and then toss it twice at the height of 12 inches. Now flip the cake upside down and put it on the microwave grill kept on the tray as you can see from the picture below.




Keep it like this for 10 to 15 min and then use the plastic knife to scratch around the pan inside. Well, your cake will be ready as same as it is in the picture below or maybe better than this.
